Again 7.3 Magnitude Earthquake Has Struck Nepal


Updated 09:36 BST: The USGS has subsequently downgraded the magnitude from 7.4 to 7.3.
A major earthquake has struck eastern Nepal just a fortnight after a devastating quake hit the country, leaving more than 8,000 dead.

Tuesday's earthquake, which struck near the town of Namche Bazar near Mount Everest, was shallow and had a magnitude of 7.3 according to the US Geological Survey. The earthquake on April 25 had a magnitude of 7.8.
